The weekend of May 9th, We enjoyed the beautiful Shawnee Forest, near Harrisburg IL.

March, April, MAY I give you an update?!!

March--
WOW, my last post was the rodeo. Time flies when you're having fun!!??

The end of March was an eye opener for the Wolter family. As you all know, Floyd, Vernitta and Lauren were in a serious car accident. We are all SO thankful, they came out as well as they did.

Since the Accident, alot of heeling has taken place, although, Vernitta and Floyd both are still feeling the effects....Both are back to work, but just not 100% yet. We just thank the good lord & their guardian angels that they are still here, And hope their bodies will soon have a full recovery!
On a happier note......
While "our Gardener" (a.k.a Floyd) was out on "Medical Leave", Keith thought he would repay the many favors of mowing the lawn, and Mow grass for Floyd! Everthing went well, the Snapper was just a little smaller than Keith is used to..(not to mention the wrong color)....


April--
Just after leaving the hospital, Vernitta had a BIRTHDAY approaching,
SHE TURNED 60,
and I think enjoyed every moment!...WE SURE DID!


We surprised her by taking her to Favazza's on the Hill!

Even Blake knew to dress for the special occassion!!

Another Surprise to Both Floyd & Vernitta, was that their Friends Dale & Vicky Heller were joining them for dinner too!





EASTER --
We were able to enjoy easter with both of our families this year.
We especially enjoyed watching Lauren, Mason, and Blake easter egg hunt.

Floyd Also had a BIRTHDAY: April 30th, he turned 61.
We took him to Reid's Harvest House in Chester.

As we ARE currently in the month of May --
you can guess....Yes, more BIRTHDAY'S....WHEW!

Mom Turned 50! May 8.
Brittany, Corey, Ashley, Joe, Keith and I Surprised her at the American Legion in Evansville.....
GOOOD TIMES!






Mom actually utilized the wheel chair and cane...Very helpful props!!

Looking for something to do?
The other weekend we took a road trip to Alton.

Our first stop was at a Lewis & Clark historical site, where we saw our first birds.....(Do we look like tourists?!)


We were able to get pretty close up!...only for a short time before it flew away!

Throughout our 1-2 hr. Eagle watching journey, we spotted over 20 eagles!


Also that day, we showed off the
New Nobbe
store in Jerseyville.

We also visited Historic Downtown St. Charles, while we were in the area, and ate lunch at a yummy Italian restaraunt.
