There was No more feeding every night in the snow & cold,
There was No more feeding every night in the snow & cold,
Lilly and Goldie were let out free range on All the thick, green grass a couple weeks ago. They LOVED it!....we did too, no more feeding!
Until, I noticed Tuesday our Baby (she's 8 already - not a baby) was limping around, glossy eyes, head hanging low, not her energetic Happy to see you! self....
So we pulled them to the dirt lot for the night,
Dr. Whop administered some penicillin & said we'd call the Vet the next morning.

So, I call the vet, pick up some medicine paste, and was instructed to keep her off the green grass for 2 weeks, (means we have to feed daily again) Boohoo.
and we can introduce grass in hr. increments thereafter, until she is slowly put back on the pasture.....WHO has that kind of time? But I guess for her, I will make time.
She's showing improvement already -
We hope to be "Back in the Saddle" in just a week or two.
GET BETTER SOON LILLY!
